Well it could stop the protests there

2020-01-25 15:42:05 UTC

Obviously

2020-01-25 15:42:10 UTC

hong kong is a more immediate problem to them than the states

2020-01-25 15:42:31 UTC

but all the protestors are already wearing masks 😛

2020-01-25 15:43:04 UTC

they were going to deploy it in the HK to

2020-01-25 15:43:42 UTC

Well I'm glad it was mainsland China because the people needed to be woken up. They know she's it hard when famine and disease has come round

2020-01-25 15:44:00 UTC

That's why they passed the Anti-Mask law

2020-01-25 15:44:26 UTC

Not gonna stop them

2020-01-25 15:45:00 UTC

I'd always wear a mask if I was gonna be In china

2020-01-25 15:45:30 UTC

There so scared

2020-01-25 15:46:40 UTC

They just need to get rid of the party right now before this gets worst

2020-01-25 16:04:07 UTC

Soon you will have to wear a mask everywhere.
Because china will have brought everything

2020-01-25 16:16:04 UTC

same for nazis I hear

2020-01-25 17:20:21 UTC

> *"Few will admit voting for Remain."*
<:WaitWhatArmy:590858815189024778>

2020-01-25 17:28:45 UTC

They're gonna play the victim card as hard as they possibly can

2020-01-25 17:31:30 UTC

Why can't they just accept that the UK is just better than the EU? Bloody EuroPhiles are disgraceful

2020-01-25 18:36:50 UTC

And even if the EU was better than the UK, surely they should have some loyalty towards their home nation(s)?

2020-01-25 18:39:43 UTC

They love the EU more

2020-01-25 18:43:27 UTC

Then why stay? Other than simple convenience

2020-01-25 18:48:39 UTC

To change us when there is no objective reasoning to do so

2020-01-25 18:48:52 UTC

other than that we are not like them

2020-01-25 18:51:01 UTC

Why should they be forced out by thse they perceive as 'bigots'? They have just as much right to stay and fight for the version of the UK they believe in as anyone else. Just because we might think their versin is the damaging one doesn't mean they dn't genuinely believe the country is better off in their beloved EU.

2020-01-25 18:54:17 UTC

That's the main problem

2020-01-25 18:55:28 UTC

because their version means no UK

2020-01-25 18:55:49 UTC

it would be the same if someone said, I think the UK would be better under russia's control

2020-01-25 18:56:26 UTC

or like when labour said we should appease the Nazi's

2020-01-25 18:59:59 UTC

Today's remain are yesterday's Chamberlain. They'd surrender ourselves to an external power to avoid financial difficulty.

2020-01-25 19:00:45 UTC

I don't want to force anyone out, I simply asked why they should stay

2020-01-25 19:00:49 UTC

financial difficulty? every economist says that Britain would heavily profit from leaving the EU in an economic regard

2020-01-25 19:01:31 UTC

In the long term, definitely. But before the vote, it was apparently unanimous that Britain would turn into an African Socialist state in terms of economic situation overnight.

2020-01-25 19:01:48 UTC

nah, other countries would support the UK

2020-01-25 19:01:57 UTC

At least in the Remain camp's eyes this was the reality.

2020-01-25 19:02:08 UTC

didn't trump say he would give trade between the UK like an extremely small trade tax if they left the EU?

2020-01-25 19:02:20 UTC

Trump said he'd be 100% behind us.

2020-01-25 19:02:51 UTC

most of the profit UK gets is from trading with countries outside the EU IIRC. And the EU places huge tariffs on trading outside the EU

2020-01-25 19:03:42 UTC

The issue is, people sensationalising everything and catastrophising. An economic bump is turned into a national crisis because Megacorps lose out a couple million while average jo sees his wages increase a bit because of an increase in desirability.
