to be fair, i wouldnt expect that in other areas... like if british people got a grant for IT courses...

so for example, say we go with 20 years for free education: after the 10th year each additional year brings your debt 10% down

I'm down with that.
Say it's 1 mil in education. You leave before year 20 it's 50k a year you owe

I'm all for private. Just it was how we roped doctors in a the birth of the NHS

@wacka what's the root cause of that? is it some delay in getting the bone replacement? or is it a backlog?

because not all doctors practise privately on top of the nhs work they do

So like, 2 local practices merged so they didn't have to rent 2 buildings - now people have to travel further and get less time with a doc to maximise profit

@Jes i've worked with many bottom feeders from the nhs in my job

one line is NHS wait time, one bar is private cost

So so many wladfa

I must say, the NHS practise I was with when I lived near Coventry was fantastic

so knee replacement is the most expensive.. even more than hip replacement :/

because of perminent mental health issues, they treated me extremely well
