We don’t know if they’ll hurt someone
Statistically there’s little evidence either way
Right, it's more of a grey area as they won't automatically hurt someone else
So while I want to be safe
I conjecture that loli drawings prevent them going after real children
It’s also logical to assume that this may abate actual rape
A lot of rapists watch very degenerate porn though
And real children not being touched is all I care about
I mean, I'd consider it kinda already proven. After all, Japan, despite being a land of loli and other weird kinds of porn, has pretty low sex-related crimes compared to many much more seemingly conservative and prudent countries
That is something they do, how they even get in to it etc.
Japan'
Rape those drawings all you want they are not living beings
That’s a good point, if it works in Japan we might be wise to try it
s problem is that they don't record many of the sex related crimes or don't classify it as a crime, as the age of consent is literally 13 there
Problem is
Japan has a VASTLY different culture to America
it's a lot like saying there isn't a lot of rape in China like, of course there is, it's just not reported by the governmeant. Japan is notorious for covering things up
bruh
They have similiar cultures, yes, when it come to the law
@everybodydothatdinosaur But they're pretty strict on people assaulting others and people fucking without consent on one party. Plus, I recall reading about age of consent there and it's somewhat murky.
The past 4 hours have been nothing but a waterfall of bread porn and gun porn.
I'm so fucking proud of all of you
But Japan is particularly bad as the age of consent is 13 and to be tried for a sex crime requires a much huger standard
On one level, in some area it's technically 14 or some such but in general, to legally get it on without some special cases, it's higher.
Don't remember the details.
@Mersenne but now it’s child porn
Are you still proud
Like your long lost father, I'm not mad. Just disappointed.
Japan has very weird laws and underreports crime as a matter of course, so it's not a good basis

don't you dare
Either way
There’s a good chance that lolicon might decrease child rape
<:Doubt:588038713938804760>
people who watch lolicon get put on a list, people who are pedos get the lead cure
