What's your favoured genre of movie?

Can someone explain why people think Tarantino is the shit?

His films are basically just "homages" to some crappy drive-in B-movie shit he liked as a boy with lots of violence and profanity but little else.

@Eccles From Dusk Til Dawn is only half Tarantino though.

I thought it was pretty entertaining too. Because I saw it not knowing anything about the plot twist so it basically turned from one movie right smack into another, which was an entertaining surprise.
