I've typed a bunch of words, that's not action

2019-10-06 07:02:36 UTC

Implied consent is coercion.

2019-10-06 07:02:41 UTC

Prove it

2019-10-06 07:02:52 UTC

Typing is an action, idiot

2019-10-06 07:03:00 UTC

"This contract that I willingly signed is poor quality so it's invalid"

2019-10-06 07:03:01 UTC

🤔

2019-10-06 07:03:14 UTC

And you run around calling other people idiots

2019-10-06 07:03:14 UTC

Prove that implicit consent is necessarily coercive

2019-10-06 07:03:57 UTC

Because I didn't give consent. You just assumed it and now you are attempting to enforce a contract that you implied I agreed to.

2019-10-06 07:04:10 UTC

Clicking the "I accept" box is called consent

2019-10-06 07:04:16 UTC

there's nothing implicit about it

2019-10-06 07:04:22 UTC

How could I give consent to something I didnt agree to?

2019-10-06 07:04:29 UTC

Sure is.

2019-10-06 07:04:31 UTC

@Anastasia such is not an argument for implicit consent being coercive

2019-10-06 07:04:38 UTC

So you don't agree to Discord's ToS?

2019-10-06 07:04:38 UTC

Simply that it isn’t consent-actual

2019-10-06 07:04:40 UTC
2019-10-06 07:04:43 UTC

Ahhh yes Oodkac and tendies

2019-10-06 07:04:52 UTC

A breakfast of champions

2019-10-06 07:05:26 UTC

Imposing an involuntary heirarchy over someone (because they didnt consent) is coercive.

2019-10-06 07:05:26 UTC

You're attempting to get big brained with someone who has a small brain Toast

2019-10-06 07:05:45 UTC

@unwoundtoast toasty lad
There’s no point

2019-10-06 07:05:48 UTC

@Anastasia implicit consent does not beget an involuntary hierarchy

2019-10-06 07:05:50 UTC

Your assumption of their consent is not consent.

2019-10-06 07:05:51 UTC

Someone who honestly believes that accepting the terms of service in order to access a platform is not consent

2019-10-06 07:05:52 UTC

It’s a dead end

2019-10-06 07:05:53 UTC

Still not an argument

2019-10-06 07:06:07 UTC

It sure is.

2019-10-06 07:06:15 UTC

Assumptions are not consent, certainly, but that does not make them coercive

2019-10-06 07:06:15 UTC

Also not an argument

2019-10-06 07:06:23 UTC

Welp I gotta go to sleep

2019-10-06 07:06:36 UTC

Mandatory 5 hours

2019-10-06 07:06:46 UTC

See y’all

2019-10-06 07:06:58 UTC

I have seen 0 evidence such that implicit consent is *necessarily* coercive

2019-10-06 07:07:35 UTC

Prove that I consented. You can't. Also, if you want to get explicit consent, you have to ensure that the user has ACTUALLY consented. I can assure you that when I get invited into a discord server there is NO consent needed.

2019-10-06 07:07:43 UTC

That’s not my point

2019-10-06 07:07:55 UTC

You have yet to prove that implicit consent is necessarily coercive

2019-10-06 07:08:01 UTC

You're here, using their platform. That's proof of consent.

2019-10-06 07:08:05 UTC

Are you this illiterate?

2019-10-06 07:08:13 UTC

Prove that I consented
