@TechBorn don't it's a DLC for ARK that was pushed for extra money
They still had the ARK menu hidden in the game

Buy Risk of Rain before the 30th and you get another 1 for free
Lmao
What did you do?
I called him out for being a shill lmao
He kept praising EPIC for giving developers a higher cut of the pay
And I told him to stop belittling the legitimate concerns people have about the launcher, like already having account information breached twice
And being 40% by Tencent, which is partnered with the Chinese government
Apparently I was too "negative" for him lmao
Surely you see the pro-steam corporate anti-epic shillfagging for what it is. It's company vs company fighting a war and whoever "wins" this battle is not really going to change things for gamers much.
I don't want an epic "win" either
Putting aside questions of whether corporation A or B (reduced to such a choice already? they can both diaf) -- all else being considered equal, I'd much rather have competing companies. But it is important to question the ethics.
The ethics of saying your launcher is perfectly safe despite two data breeches? Do you honestly think that the only people complaining about epic are just corporate shills trying to push you to steam? You don't care about them getting caught trying to access a steam file that contained sensitive information, all while subverting the steam API to access what they claimed to want to access?
As it is now, the epic games launcher is borderline spyware.
Besides that, buying out devs/publishers isn't competition, it's underhanded Chinese tactics to monopolize the market. Steam should change to combat this sway by lowering their cut, but the problem is that epic has exclusivity, which brings the console wars shit to PC.
Fuckin commies
