because pennies aren't pure copper anymore
nickels are pure nickel
Pennies are at least 3 cents per for 1982 and before, well duh that's why I said copper pennies friend 👌
had a steel 1943 penny once
but the copper ones from 1942 are worth the most from ww2
they stopped making them like 1/2 way thru the yr and switched to steel
And actually, nickels are 75% copper 25% nickel, no idea where your bro is getting his info from
earlier nickels...not the modern ones
Know the date range?
not really, he doesn't give me the details
Hey, any news or intel on the probably attempt on potus at the graveyard?
I'll look it up, I collect coins I have quite a few buffalo nickels
especially since he moved to a pure gop area from this 'pure' dem city
I figure that’s why he didn’t go
all i know is last few yrs he kept stealing my nickels...i caught him a few times harvesting
I thought silver value on coins ie nickel, quarters is any pre 1965
I just bought a grand of pre 1964 dimes. Hope you are right. I get it.
It's hard to find silver coins in circulation, that's why I go for the copper pennies, way easier to find in circulation than coins with silver which have been largely taken out of circulation as coin collectors have been going after those hard for decades
Bruh
you can get silva dolllars real easy
but they aint even that pure
Well yeah Susan b Anthony dollar coins are dime a dozen you get those and gold dollar coins from vending machines
when they do away with pennies you may be able to legally destroy them (melt/scrap)
those aint even gold
Gold colored yes
We know man
Goodbye @London2366!
copper aint gonna be worth alot once pennies go out
surplus
Yes it will, the pennies aren't .999 fine
I do have a bunch of copper pennies but hard to get pre 65 coins. I do have 30 silver dollars pre 1960
People want pure .999 fine copper bars
Wheat pennies are still pretty easy to come by for pre 65 coins though
i got a few lbs of old wiring in the back..u can smelt it down to bars if u want, i'm too lazy to strip off the coverings
1964 US coins and earlier are 90% silver
i was born in 1964
Stacking nickels when you can stack silver is dumbbbbb
riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight
Whoa and you have an older brother still? That's cool
