i've nothing against using whatever's quickest

but the whitespace thing just blows my mind how anyone would see that as an advantage

*technically* it forces you to stick to a standard of formatting

which is arguably not a bad thing

i reserve the right to code like an autistic

but I've seen many occasions where people are like "watfk how python?????" because they've copied the code with space indents

and added to it with tabs

my 68k assembler requires everything but labels and comments to have at least one tab at the beginning of the line

that's annoying enough on its own

I don't write much code these days, mostly for fucking about stufd

i have mixed feelings because i firmly believe in just dealing with any language's egocentricities, provided there's a benefit to using it

though I did write a web based quote/job database for my boss and he jizzed his pants

codeigniter (PHP), mysql, bootstrap and some gay as fuck pdf library

then immediately i started discovering that people are idiots and had to start implementing shit I had not even considered

my boss' laptop has the patchiest fucking WiFi so I had to add this

if he loses connection to the database it disables the save button

@Mips a year or 2 ago i had to replace the cpu fan, it just stopped working properly, turns out it needed inside clean,stronger cerclet,grease.

bought new one because scared it might give out soon

gpu gave same shit but had to also give it manual fix, still runs(for now)
