the rest of mercedes lineup pretty much is rwd or awd and uses longitudinal engine mounting which I generally trust more anyway, it seems like the a class is a faux benz

2018-07-26 18:39:48 UTC

I could swear the A class is a leftover from the FCA mercedes merger and is actually on the dart platform.

2018-07-26 18:39:54 UTC

Dont quote me on that tho

2018-07-26 21:14:21 UTC

I dunno, the a45 is impressive and it would surprise me if the dart platform allowed for such a machine on it

2018-07-26 21:14:33 UTC

but I still wouldn't buy one

2018-07-26 23:08:22 UTC

Stick some bracing and suspension upgrades on a dart and it will do fairly well. Shitty original platfirm notwithstanding. Tho i could be wrong.

2018-07-26 23:09:31 UTC

I hear the A45 has hellacious potential for serious tuners tho, thanks to the engine's damn near indestructible internals

2018-07-26 23:50:46 UTC

I've only seen ~450ish, I'm not sure if that's due to engine limitation, drivetrain or both

2018-07-26 23:51:34 UTC

it isn't that cheap to get that power either, but I guess considering rrp that's not surprising

2018-07-27 00:14:55 UTC

omg this website is complete shit. <:kermit_spree:378719408438116352>

2018-07-27 00:16:07 UTC

but the article is hilarious because of how awful shitty cars are and how awesome should-be-good cars are

2018-07-27 14:52:37 UTC

haha

2018-07-27 14:52:39 UTC

wtf

2018-07-27 14:53:39 UTC

it seems kinda...

2018-07-27 14:53:40 UTC

stupid

2018-07-27 14:54:17 UTC

like if you just want to blind buy cars and pick them up, ebay does it, if you want to take cars for test drives and stuff then you kinda need to actually take it out

2018-07-27 14:55:47 UTC

7 days, next time I visit the US I might just "buy" a car and return it after using it as a rental

2018-07-27 15:53:42 UTC

but not as light

2018-07-27 15:53:47 UTC

or as good

2018-07-27 15:54:45 UTC

also it doesn't really surprise me that a convertible underpinning ends up very stiff when a fixed roof is added

That's very woke

2018-07-27 18:14:50 UTC

The LC 500 is stiffer than the LFA too, but much heavier. The Supra might not actually be a whole lot heavier.

2018-07-27 20:13:32 UTC

I'd also gladly buy that CLK GTR but @LOGiK can handle the bill.

2018-07-27 20:14:33 UTC

I'm ok thanks

2018-07-28 12:12:12 UTC

I doubt it's gonna cost them more to run or not run, they've probably paid the cost of running races already, sort of sad though - f1 doesn't need to lose teams even if it is a shadow of former f1

2018-07-28 12:25:34 UTC

heh they should race with a for sale sign

2018-07-28 18:11:22 UTC

They're one of the more competitive teams outside of the top 3, someone will buy them, they'll be fine.

2018-07-28 19:10:18 UTC

Full lap up

2018-07-29 17:53:58 UTC

Haha fuck
