orrrrrrrrrrrr exploiting the game meta in a fashion where everyone is too paranoid to move for fear of being murdered by all the other campers who are waiting for other people to do the heavy lifting
that's what I did in the division
There's a whole heap of potential here
murder people and steal their gear
then that became repetitive and boring, like the rest of the game
A pox upon thee.

I teamed up with people too!
Then ganged up on others.
Yeah, I don't go to the dz in the division because I don't think that stealing people is funny
yeah, I tend to find that playstyle results in people who want to actually play the objective to quit the game
Leaving servers full of people who just want to kill other players, except everyone else is doing the same thing, so barely anything happens
I used to play a game called Instellar Marines
I still do occassionally
But yeah, stopped playing for like two years
Because in this game you 'rank up' by collecting points, and you collect points by killing the enemies in the environment and 'looting' the points from them
reached a point where one single slimy cunt could go prone behind a bush near an exit, wipe out your squad with a silenced weapon, and steal all of the points off you and your squad and then exit
after you've been busting your ass against very murderous ai robots for over an hour
and even though "it's just a game" and "global rankings don't matter"
when you see cunts like that waaaaaaaaaay above you on the game-wide scoreboard
you're basically just like 'yeah, get fucked'
but if the devs make one wrong move
I backed Interstellar Marines on kickstarter, but it went into development hell at some point.
I just think it's currently a little too easy to let someone else find the bounty, kill the bounty, collect the bounty from the corpse, and then you can pick them off at that point
Hasn't happened to me *yet* but that's because I spend like twenty fucking minutes securing absolutely everything before trying to exit
only one guy working on it in his spare time now, I think.
Yeah, it's still kicking around
recently the community was able to get involved
so it's making headway again
but
could be too little too late
don't know
Marines need to be tougher
also the fucking huge backpack shouldn't count as part of the hitbox
that's absurd
"agh! he got me in the BACKPACK!"
Also a greater variety of vision modes
considering this is supposed to be like cutting-edge tech with only the best of the best recruits allowed to participate
and all they have are fucking flashlights
herp derp
I love the whole helmet visor thing
lol
