also the fucking huge backpack shouldn't count as part of the hitbox
that's absurd
"agh! he got me in the BACKPACK!"
Also a greater variety of vision modes
considering this is supposed to be like cutting-edge tech with only the best of the best recruits allowed to participate
and all they have are fucking flashlights
herp derp
I love the whole helmet visor thing
lol
would like to see more pros/cons to having it opened/closed in various situations
the backpack is the most vulnerable part of the marine, be sure to aim for that
basic training knowledge
wut
make it modular, so you can purchase upgrade 'chips' for it or something, and you can insert, say, two chips into your helmet that give you XYZ
see, plenty of ideas there
the game has a very interesting premise, and ambitious goals
nfi if they'll do any
well, I did catch some of the more h4rdk0re community leaving me with the impression they don't want to do the whole alien thing anymore
and just have it as marines v marines
which is like
It should be Rainbox Six
**IN SPAAAAAAAAAAAAACE**
sure, have marines v marines in some scenarios
but asymmetrical combat against hostile lifeforms? sign me up for that shit
Anyhoo, so far, so good
Prolly give it another bash later
Sargon is doing some DSP level gameplay
Phew, felt the urge to destroy my computer, because of a frustrating jumping puzzle. Over now though. :p
What game were *you* playing?
Also, Stellaris is 60% off. hmmmm.
Already got my hands full, but everyone seems to be into it. Might pick it up anyway
What I'm not liking about Stellaris 2.0 is the pirate events.
Now that you need to spend influence to expand, it seriously limits how fast you can do it. And no matter how fast you do it, you constantly have pirates spawning just outside your borders.
Or, if you leave a hole in your territory, again, that's where the pirates will spawn. And they rubberband on how strong your standard outposts are.
Sounds reminiscent of the Mongol spam in TW Medieval 2
how did they legally get away with this? loopholes?
judging from the terrible English I can only assume it's from a country where Valve can't sue them
But why would Valve let them sell the fuckin' game on their own platform?
There is a game called runner, it seems pretty interesting
