To finish my point about the previous conversation, the idea would be a balance between European police who's way too lenient, and American police, who would be trigger happy(I know what I said about comparing policies from different countries)

I don't think the American police is the devil or something, quite the opposite, I just see this blanket defence of "the police is always right and can do no wrong" or "he should have done that therfore everything the police did is valid" is stupid and end up letting silly situations like that escalate to a unnecessary outcome

Well, I think it's a given that adopting either extreme of 'all police are saints and can do no wrong' and 'all police are devils and cannot be allowed to exist' is pointless
