who takes a 4 week old baby to the cinema
I am okay with Cineworld doing this tbh
it's not worth the risk for some bureaucratic tosspot fining them obscene amounts of money because the baby technically was under 15
the cinema have to take inconsideration all the people. and Im sure they are going to get more angry complains from having a kid crying for 2h. and it a reason why you have baby cinemas even if they are dying out from the people using them are total slobs
I think that excuse is lame. Just say it's not the right environment to bring such a small child
or say
"it's the law, sorry"
"She's not 15" just sounds really amateur
Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
tru dat
and I'm sure they are not payed that well that they bother to think anyway
@turtwig there wouldnt be a fine, and generally there never is. The rating system of movies like games is arbitrary, not law. Businesses put their own restrictions on themselves. As well the work around in most business rules is "with parental consent". Im fine with that because a 1 month old would disturb other customers.
Hence why so many parents took their kids to, and were shocked by Deadpool 1.
I can't find the legislation right now but I'm pretty sure it's illegal to allow someone younger than the listed age to view, rent or buy a movie
Brick Dollbanger KEK
Not in the us.
The rating boards arnt gov agencies.
the article is UK <:what:382980756139409409>
The rating system is a voluntary guide for parents, and courts have said theaters aren't obligated to enforce it. ... Some states had laws requiring movie theaters to enforce the Motion Picture Association of America rating system, but those statutes have been repealed.
Ah
Yea uk is moronic
They gave the movie association and pegi the power over parents.
I've stood in that very spot like a 1000 times
