same

2017-10-31 14:10:33 UTC

I think this test should be more nuanced, for example, I am in favor of marijuana legalization, but for other drugs, such as meth, I view these differently.

2017-10-31 14:20:10 UTC

they should be viewed individually

2017-10-31 14:28:53 UTC

@meratrix Do you wish to elaborate on that stance?

2017-10-31 14:31:21 UTC

@Soyaman whats your postion

2017-10-31 14:31:52 UTC

position┬▒

2017-10-31 14:33:01 UTC

marijuana is a naturally growing substance, meth requires manufacturing.

2017-10-31 14:34:26 UTC

But if this is the requrement tahn Morphine also should be legal

2017-10-31 14:35:03 UTC

I think it should still be regulated, like alcohol.

2017-10-31 14:35:23 UTC

So that isn't a problem with morphine because it is already regulated

2017-10-31 14:35:33 UTC

in what way

2017-10-31 14:35:43 UTC

should it be avalible for rec use?

2017-10-31 14:35:53 UTC

and regulated there

2017-10-31 14:36:27 UTC

yes, but similar laws to alcohol, especially with regards to things like driving.

2017-10-31 14:36:33 UTC

and age

2017-10-31 14:36:56 UTC

that is fair

2017-10-31 14:37:07 UTC

but i think it should apply to all drugs

2017-10-31 14:38:47 UTC

for the sake of removing it as funding for cartel/gang activity

2017-10-31 14:39:07 UTC

I can see your point there as well.

2017-10-31 14:41:05 UTC

as long as these things are illegal they will fund even worse activities like human trafficking

2017-10-31 14:44:21 UTC

I guess a good way to go about it would be to have much stricter regulations on things like meth and heroine because those can actually kill you from an overdose, while marijuana cannot because of the amount you would have to smoke to die is impossible to smoke in the amount of time needed.

2017-10-31 14:46:01 UTC

If your method of conducting whether it should be legal or not is based off arbitariness then that's not really a good position to hold.

2017-10-31 14:46:20 UTC

but if the meth and heroine are regulated they will be less likely to kill you,

2017-10-31 14:46:26 UTC

Hash and opium are naturally grown.

2017-10-31 14:46:28 UTC

I'm not against weed liberation

2017-10-31 14:46:29 UTC

you know how much each dose it

2017-10-31 14:46:38 UTC

is*

2017-10-31 14:46:42 UTC

Many things are manufactured that is good for you.

2017-10-31 14:46:47 UTC

So both sides of that coin is just... Bad.

2017-10-31 14:46:48 UTC

but, i see people talking about it like a magic solution to "end violence"

2017-10-31 14:47:07 UTC

and this pisses me off

2017-10-31 14:47:10 UTC

It seems like your opinion on this is more based off popular culture / widespread appeal more so than reason.

2017-10-31 14:47:13 UTC

Which is fair.

2017-10-31 14:47:21 UTC

As long as you recognise it.

2017-10-31 14:48:06 UTC

@Fulcrum010 could you go futher into that argument

2017-10-31 14:48:21 UTC

Hippies.

2017-10-31 14:48:24 UTC

He's talking about hippies.

2017-10-31 14:48:31 UTC

ohhhhhhh

2017-10-31 14:49:04 UTC

because i think it will reduce the amount of violence by removing it from the black markets

2017-10-31 14:49:16 UTC

it might lower a bit

2017-10-31 14:49:27 UTC

but, i don't think it will be a significant %
