I'd say the relationship is mutual
Really us vs them
Blind tribalism
He can get fucked.
These are the guys who made the original film, and it's full of retweets for the meme.
I remember seeing the vice documentary on those guys
And i will watch
@Rat.Resistance FYI you don't need to post that, it gets posted in <#372512471954620417>
Yeah, I posted it in the wrong server, sorry x)
its ok
we have a lot of nice things that other servers don't have
My phone does thos weird thing where it doesn't go directly to something when I get a notification, so I end up forgetting that I am still in a spesific server
Let's try having a more insightful discussion about it in this channel.
What could be a better description against Social Justice? Maybe True Justice?
Liberalist sounds appealing to people on the left that aren't crazy, people on the center-left, maybe even center-right. But not conservatives.
Then, there's the question, what would being a "liberalist" entail?
One of the big problems of people that are fed up with Social Justice and Feminism: they don't know how exactly to articulate against SWJs and Feminists. Or against the Alt Right even.
That's one of the problems with certain "skeptic" channels, they do a response video full of insults and jokes, but no actual arguments. Undoomed comes to mind.
When a SJW cries "cultural appropriation", people sometimes say "no it's not", when that shouldn't be the point of contention. It's whether cultural appropriation is bad or not.
So not knowing what is the point of disagreement often lets people fall into "traps" in debates that do nothing but score "points." Like Kraut not even knowing what to argue against, tilting at windmills.
JBP is quite enlightening on this, when he explains exactly why he opposes certain progressive views.
yes, there's a lot of "point scoring" going on
JBP said it himself, if something sounds wrong, you can just express that. "That doesn't sound right to me. I can't quite explain why right now, but I'll get back to that at some other time."
a lot of it seems to serve the youtube economy of likes and views
I think what would benefit the "community" more would be for Sargon to list a set of principles for people that want to be active voices against progressivism/social justice.
I don't like the idea of organizing it
I feel like he is trying to pivot coming off like a lil bitch into "we need to start a movement"
I think he wants something to get done, but doesn't want to risk being responsible for it, as if it would concede some moral high ground.
Although he already calls himself an activist, right?
What would you rather have? People orbiting an individual, or having a cause/purpose?
no leaders exactly
someone just needs to bring the bantz
there needs to be Trumps of every ideological variety
