lol
you cant say shit
half the fucking curries made in india are actually ours 😛
we just dont take the credit for what we do
humble people we are 🤣
hmmmm sugar
you like full breakfasts?
i do
why fry tomatoes?
i dont usually
i usually do them in the oven
burn them to a crisp
but in the way you are refering
they are usually tinned chopped tomatoes
so frying gets rid of a bit of the juices
and warms them up, kills two birds with one stone
why blood sauasge
i dont like haggis
and blood sausage
also why jellied eels
🤢
it was cheap during wartime
i dont know anyone that eats them anymore
theres still one or two places if you go looking, but i think its more nostalgia for my grandparents than anything
yeah, at the end of the day, when times are tough, you do what you gotta do
like spam fritters?
but culture only changes in death
nah, that was another wartime tradition that doesnt get passed down
haggis is kinda awesome
it's like our beggars' meal, just spiced different

@Thomas the Sowell Train [USA] we need some snipbits
For anyone who saw Roaming Millenial's video where she recommended the doc U.N. Me, about U.N. corrupton (I think), someone over at t_d was kind enough to archive this https://archive.org/details/U.N.Me_Ami.Horovitz
what is a snipbit
very interesting... at about 18 minutes in the doc talks about what it refers to as a "peacful protest", where U.N. peacekeepers opened fire upon the crowd from the Hotel Ivoire and killed demonstrators. The French peacekeepers reported 20 deaths, while Ivorian authorities reported 60. This wikipedia article calls the demonstrators rioters, while there seems to be no evidence that the group which was fired upon actually rioted. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_French%E2%80%93Ivorian_clashes#Retaliation_by_the_French_and_subsequent_riots
