You realize the *resurrection* story has grounds in 4 other far older religions?

2018-07-04 23:58:17 UTC

Just jumping around

2018-07-04 23:58:23 UTC

throwing random points

2018-07-04 23:58:38 UTC

The hero's story is a common story

2018-07-04 23:59:09 UTC

Egyptian, Zoastrian, Hindu, cant remember the fourth I think roman/greco

2018-07-04 23:59:37 UTC

Romulas is a misnomer

2018-07-04 23:59:46 UTC

yes, and the world is held up by 4 dwarfs. There are 7 billion humans and uncountable dead humans, things have been done before

2018-07-04 23:59:55 UTC

they are not that similar upon closer comparison

2018-07-05 00:00:07 UTC

Um look into the story of set

2018-07-05 00:00:27 UTC

Are all stories that have a similar story arc the same?

2018-07-05 00:00:38 UTC

is star wars the same as LOTR?

2018-07-05 00:00:51 UTC

That is not a very compelling argument

2018-07-05 00:00:56 UTC

for anything

2018-07-05 00:01:00 UTC

Yes. Killed as a sacrifice, various days, then resurrection

2018-07-05 00:01:05 UTC

No

2018-07-05 00:01:08 UTC

just swap the god of choice for jesus

2018-07-05 00:01:15 UTC

Romulas was not resurrected

2018-07-05 00:01:22 UTC

I didnt say romulus

2018-07-05 00:01:27 UTC

2018-07-05 00:01:34 UTC

Debate a ghost

2018-07-05 00:01:34 UTC

2018-07-05 00:01:44 UTC

2018-07-05 00:01:45 UTC

roman/greco

2018-07-05 00:01:52 UTC

That is the one i know

2018-07-05 00:02:03 UTC

I have not looked at the other three though

2018-07-05 00:02:08 UTC

Cool I wasnt sure on that one it could have been any other

2018-07-05 00:02:22 UTC

The story closer resembles the hindu and egyptian tales

2018-07-05 00:02:35 UTC

What is your point?

2018-07-05 00:02:42 UTC

BEcause they are similar?

2018-07-05 00:02:54 UTC

what

2018-07-05 00:03:38 UTC

My point is. You can deny it but many traditions of catholicism and christianity as a whole were taken and adjusted from paganism, along with deciding what *miricles* and scripture would be included or not from the bible.

2018-07-05 00:04:24 UTC

The only point was that marrige as a Catholic tradition Was only done in mutual consent

2018-07-05 00:04:26 UTC

As Christianity was expanded and *translations* were done with neat additions and subtractions based on the area, this continued

2018-07-05 00:04:37 UTC

the only good catholics are the non-white catholics

2018-07-05 00:04:38 UTC

do you have any evidence they stole this from pegan culture?

2018-07-05 00:04:38 UTC

yeah

2018-07-05 00:04:39 UTC

Your point was it was *the first*

2018-07-05 00:04:46 UTC

Handfasting

2018-07-05 00:04:49 UTC
