no, he's making a big stink about it

2018-11-09 02:08:24 UTC

anyway, apparently Boogie is super public about his suicide thoughts

2018-11-09 02:08:45 UTC

Jeremy (The Quartering) called the cops on him one time

2018-11-09 02:09:01 UTC

then Boogie was like "I no longer trust Jeremy. I thought he'd be smart and keep it between us."

2018-11-09 02:09:04 UTC

like wtf

2018-11-09 02:09:05 UTC

lol

2018-11-09 02:09:19 UTC

internet friends you know

2018-11-09 02:09:20 UTC

can't trust em

2018-11-09 04:10:26 UTC

How do you have freedom in even idealistic communism? You litterally have a job that the community needs, not that you want. You jave to share all your belongings and own nothing. And with no freedom of movement you are stagnent with no incentive.

2018-11-09 04:18:18 UTC

you don't

2018-11-09 04:19:45 UTC

Ok communism never works tho because of basic human psychology look at the shared bikes, any time humans lack their own individual belongings they abuse them because their is no consequence and it’s not “theirs” tbh I think even ideal communism sounds stupid because it implies everyone in the planet deserves equality when we all know trash is trash and should be treated as such.

2018-11-09 04:20:18 UTC

in ideal communism, there will nevr be any research or medical or any other innovation

2018-11-09 04:20:58 UTC

it will merely be subsistence, because in ideal communism, you would have to train a class of specialists to even do research, and they won't have any incentive to spend decades doing intensive research for equal reward to plebs

2018-11-09 04:21:15 UTC

^ and that

2018-11-09 04:29:45 UTC

Also because if you would have to train everyone because otherwise everyone wouldn't be equal anymore

2018-11-09 04:30:43 UTC

And that just doesn't work because some people would be better at the skill than others leading to an unequal outcome

2018-11-09 04:36:53 UTC

imagine having communism but trying to avoid natural leaders or anyone directing things

2018-11-09 04:37:15 UTC

it would inevitably just be a centralized command structure called socialism

2018-11-09 04:42:42 UTC

Someone would invent money, buy property, and then you'd be in AnCapistan

2018-11-09 05:13:27 UTC

Not if we make it illegal! <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>

Oregon workers now pay a new statewide transit tax as of July 1, 2018. The tax is one tenth of 1 percent — $1 per $1,000 — and employers will withhold the tax from workers' wages. ... The tax pays for public transportation projects and improvements statewide.

2018-11-09 07:16:08 UTC

Fuck my fucking state. I just saw this BS

2018-11-09 07:26:51 UTC

lol public transport meme

2018-11-09 07:26:57 UTC

California did the same thing weith the gas tax

2018-11-09 07:27:05 UTC

it's just money that disappears into politician's pockets

2018-11-09 07:27:17 UTC

Fix the roads? No. Fucking idiots

2018-11-09 07:27:40 UTC

We pay a gas tax too

2018-11-09 07:27:53 UTC

That mostly goes to Bicycle lane BS in Portland

2018-11-09 07:28:27 UTC

This Transit tax.....3 cities have large scale public transport. 3 smaller towns have a bus program (That is shared) and failing.

2018-11-09 07:29:06 UTC

All this money goes to Portland, Salem, and Eugene. At the whole states expense. And the Light Rail BS they want to put in Portland that the voters repeatedly say no.

2018-11-09 07:29:11 UTC

Fucking hell...

2018-11-09 07:29:57 UTC

I fucking Drive, I will always drive. My family all drives. I shouldn't have to pay for public transport of the Portland Greater Area, much less any. I don't use it. Raise fucking Fare prices or something.

2018-11-09 07:36:53 UTC

Do they charge for bus tickets as well?

2018-11-09 07:43:36 UTC

yes

2018-11-09 07:49:20 UTC

of course

2018-11-09 07:50:45 UTC

Oregon loves taxing people for things they won't use. Like Gas tax for the Bike Lanes/equipment (Who don't pay the tax). Or this one on people who would never even use the transit systems, and don't even live in the cities with them.

2018-11-09 07:52:34 UTC

Fuckers voted in a 1.5% tax on Private Insurance companies AND Hospitals. To fund the Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid). Though the wording of the bill had the caviot of it going to the General Fund.

Oh and Hospitals? Yea thats right, they pass the cost to Private insurance AND OHP.

2018-11-09 07:53:20 UTC

So Private Insurers pay 3% for Public Insurers, and the state cycles 1.5% from the OHP budget into the Gen Fund with it.

2018-11-09 07:54:21 UTC

Mind you Oregon has a MASSIVE debt with the PERSI accounts (Public Employee Retirement). For 2 decades they let people retire with Pensions/Retirment with the State footing the entire cost. Thats Retirement Payments, Insurance, ect.

Only like last year we finally forced them to have a cost share.
