How do you have freedom in even idealistic communism? You litterally have a job that the community needs, not that you want. You jave to share all your belongings and own nothing. And with no freedom of movement you are stagnent with no incentive.

Ok communism never works tho because of basic human psychology look at the shared bikes, any time humans lack their own individual belongings they abuse them because their is no consequence and it’s not “theirs” tbh I think even ideal communism sounds stupid because it implies everyone in the planet deserves equality when we all know trash is trash and should be treated as such.
in ideal communism, there will nevr be any research or medical or any other innovation
it will merely be subsistence, because in ideal communism, you would have to train a class of specialists to even do research, and they won't have any incentive to spend decades doing intensive research for equal reward to plebs
Also because if you would have to train everyone because otherwise everyone wouldn't be equal anymore
And that just doesn't work because some people would be better at the skill than others leading to an unequal outcome
imagine having communism but trying to avoid natural leaders or anyone directing things
it would inevitably just be a centralized command structure called socialism

This Transit tax.....3 cities have large scale public transport. 3 smaller towns have a bus program (That is shared) and failing.
All this money goes to Portland, Salem, and Eugene. At the whole states expense. And the Light Rail BS they want to put in Portland that the voters repeatedly say no.

I fucking Drive, I will always drive. My family all drives. I shouldn't have to pay for public transport of the Portland Greater Area, much less any. I don't use it. Raise fucking Fare prices or something.
