On the surface it makes sense, “Just because it’s legal doesn’t make it right”. But what I got from that is that they’re trying to say that what we’re doing today as a society will be considered “evil” in the future. Which by itself makes no sense because we have plenty of laws that are over a century old that are not immoral. By itself, it seems to me that she’s trying to make the that argument. In reality, even by the commonly held morals of those times those actions we’re considered immoral, so using that as a way to say the future will consider us immoral, I find, to be dishonest.
