Call me crazy, but "you deserve to be fat and have your children die" seems like a bad thing to say if you want to win elections in a state in the future
Same goes for dumb Republicans who have turned California into a metonym for "everything I hate" and are shocked that the Cal GOP no longer exists. If you use California as a boo-word in your speeches, it might hurt your brand in the most important state in the country
