It's a hypothetical
so they don't have kids that end up starving, to reduce suffering
Not sure how to answer that question correctly. I could only give my point of view.
*What gives you the moral authority to remove suffering from peoples lives?
And who are you to define suffering for other people?*
I can't define something that's already defined.
I really hate neolibs lol
Why do you call me that?
Utilitarianism
I like Hitler the best of all the leaders we have had in the later days.
In the early days I like Jesus.
<:think_madpepe:378717098630971395>
How does that make me a neolib?
it's quite the leap
Ofc.
People made quite a leap.
Hitler did amazing things.
Animal rights.
what is your idea of a great or near perfect society? how do people live etc. ?
it might help us understand exactly where you are coming from
In one sentence.
In the perfect society I can leave my child with anyone and be sure that my child will be taken care of until I get back.
hmm
See
In my society, that makes you a piece of shit lol
human nature is too fucked up
Can't blame it on human nature. All you have to go on 100% is the man in the mirror.
I like my man in the mirror.
He could live in my perfect society.
Why would you be such a POS as to hand off your responsibility to someone else for a short time?
haa
Made me laugh.
Is it a serious question?
Yes
wow..
Ok
Actually need to think up a good response to that since you don't understand why I might need to do that sometime.
In my society, doing shit like leaving your kid with a stranger makes you a lazy, irresponsible piece of crap. Regardless of the safety of it, its YOU who is delegating your responsibility as a parent to someone else
Let's say my friend is badly hurt, so badly hurt that it would scar my child to see his injuries. One of those moments.
Where's the mother?
Your extended family?
Next to me if it's a family member.
My point would be that the entire society is my extended family.
