Why is Austrian economics not more popular?

2018-12-15 22:15:49 UTC

Because economics is flawed from the ground up.

2018-12-15 22:15:55 UTC

The invisible hand owns us.

2018-12-15 22:16:07 UTC

I think I'm done lol

2018-12-15 22:16:12 UTC

Smart people tend to be socialists because they wan't everybody to be taken care of.

2018-12-15 22:16:29 UTC

So.... why do you want smart people to vote for you again?

2018-12-15 22:16:30 UTC

My opinions ofc.

2018-12-15 22:16:42 UTC

Not vote for me.

2018-12-15 22:16:47 UTC

I never said that.

2018-12-15 22:17:03 UTC

a lot of tarded people want to be taken care of and others to be taken care of too

2018-12-15 22:17:14 UTC

Like my future ex-girlfriend

2018-12-15 22:17:14 UTC

Betty, 17 could rule the world for all I care. If she on paper was the smartest and best choice.

2018-12-15 22:17:31 UTC

define best

2018-12-15 22:17:31 UTC

That doesn't answer my question

2018-12-15 22:18:03 UTC

Well, wanting to have as little suffering as you can in the world is a good "best".

2018-12-15 22:18:04 UTC

I just said smart people want socialism, and you want smart people to run the world.

Therefore, you want socialism.

2018-12-15 22:18:39 UTC

You're not really in a discussion mode here @Fitzydog It's more of an attack and counter talk.

2018-12-15 22:18:51 UTC

So I really don't know how to answer you.

2018-12-15 22:19:22 UTC

like i said before, it's too big of a job
i'll leave it that

2018-12-15 22:19:38 UTC

>Well, wanting to have as little suffering as you can in the world is a good "best".

2018-12-15 22:19:39 UTC

Fair enough.

2018-12-15 22:19:52 UTC

can you detect the fallacy?

2018-12-15 22:20:05 UTC

Not really. Elaborate?

2018-12-15 22:20:15 UTC

Is it bad to not want suffering in the world?

2018-12-15 22:20:27 UTC

how do you decide what is the best outcome?

2018-12-15 22:20:47 UTC

Define the situation.

2018-12-15 22:20:55 UTC

Best outcome of what exactly?

2018-12-15 22:21:00 UTC

Governing?

2018-12-15 22:21:04 UTC

Suffering?

2018-12-15 22:21:10 UTC

of a single person governing the entire world?

2018-12-15 22:21:16 UTC

based on iq

2018-12-15 22:21:35 UTC

Best outcome imo would be that we after his or her term don't have governance anymore.

2018-12-15 22:21:56 UTC

ok

2018-12-15 22:21:59 UTC

that's after

2018-12-15 22:22:09 UTC

but while it's still going on

2018-12-15 22:22:14 UTC

It's called outcome if it's after something...

2018-12-15 22:22:24 UTC

This is utilitarian thinking, which gave us Neo-Libs

2018-12-15 22:23:28 UTC

what if in order to end starvation in the world we decide to castrate everyone that can't 100% afford a family?

2018-12-15 22:23:35 UTC

would you agree with that

2018-12-15 22:23:41 UTC

No because most of them come from a point where governing the people is something that needs to continue. But what I'm trying to say is that there exists ways people can live together without it. It's just that it's not easy to get there and it would not be good for a lot of people.

2018-12-15 22:24:11 UTC

@Ondsinet Why would you need to castrate them?
