IF article 50 get extended

2019-01-25 01:10:12 UTC

You'll never escape, Broo

the UK will have to field MEP

2019-01-25 01:10:30 UTC

The Belgians will not allow it!

We'll flood it with Euro-Skeptics <:mad_lad:464461880786944000>

2019-01-25 01:10:45 UTC

Please do

2019-01-25 01:10:54 UTC

How would you

2019-01-25 01:11:08 UTC

You are losing your vote lol

not if they extend article 50

2019-01-25 01:11:55 UTC

will just serve to exemplify the undemocratic nature of the institution

we will have to campaign for something we are leaving

2019-01-25 01:12:13 UTC

Why?

2019-01-25 01:12:22 UTC

I don't understand

it could get extended 9 months and elections are in May(?)

2019-01-25 01:12:49 UTC

Your silly Europolitics makes no sense.

2019-01-25 01:12:56 UTC

the the EU way to fuck it all up once more

2019-01-25 01:13:15 UTC

So you have a vote after leaving

The EUP to give them credit do not want this

no, we wouldn't have left in March so we will have to field MEPs

2019-01-25 01:13:58 UTC

Votes do not matter in the EU anyway so...

EUP get the final vote on Brexit...

2019-01-25 01:14:17 UTC

vote until you get it right, it a classic EU tactic. think demark have the records on the amount of times they did need to vote on something the EU did want

2019-01-25 01:14:23 UTC

The EU is designed by endless iterations from bureaucrats, to be inescapable morass where nations go to die, all in the name of "peace and prosperity" <:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>

2019-01-25 01:15:06 UTC

and it a pyramid scheme where if you dont get new nations and money in to it it will fall apart at one point

2019-01-25 01:15:07 UTC

what do you think about the shutdown? I think it's just hilarious how little importance the government has on regular life. Wonder if this is going to be a new world record. govt constantly thinks it's oh-so important but nobody actually misses it when it's gone.

2019-01-25 01:15:26 UTC

not that I'd argue for complete anarchy, but I do think the current situation is pretty hilarious.

2019-01-25 01:15:31 UTC

I think kt sucks for the workers

2019-01-25 01:16:05 UTC

it would need to be shut down for extended periods of time to really be felt by the man on the street, though

2019-01-25 01:16:16 UTC

They have to work, they can't not show up or they are in major trouble

2019-01-25 01:16:17 UTC

you've got frameworks to keep things in order for a while

2019-01-25 01:17:02 UTC

So I sympathise with the workers.

2019-01-25 01:17:17 UTC

But it must be done.

2019-01-25 01:17:51 UTC

why can't they be paid, though?

2019-01-25 01:18:02 UTC

the sucky part was that the democrats did block a vote for giving the workers a pay check as the lockdown had gone for such a long time

2019-01-25 01:18:20 UTC

you don't stop tax collecting for shutdown period, do you?

2019-01-25 01:18:34 UTC

Yeah, well I used to work for the (well, not american) government and comparing their work to the free market is like comparing a snail to a ferrari - 90% of people who work for the government spend most of their day just drinking coffee. It sucks for the workers, but then again, they chose to work for the government.

2019-01-25 01:18:37 UTC

nope as that is seen as an essential operation
