What is POC?
Person of color
They are removing the dead meat from the company which is totally normal
That's a pretty stupid acronym
When they realise that the diversity hire actually damages output because they aren't hiring based on skill...
yes
it melts everyone not white into a single label
haha i love it, get fucked π
which is horrible for stats and it very racist
there's also BME
Black and Minority Ethnic
BAME
Black Asian and Minority Ethnic
and it's all very horrible and they will blame white people for inventing it
@CapitΓ‘n Alatriste Picker of Cotton
Asians don't belong in that group
most of them work their asses off
They put the Asia in the group to pad the numbers
literal asian americans
but the children or grandchildren usually can ride the wealth of the hard af worker that was their parents
because they don't realize what it was like back in good old homeland
and how good it is in the states where you can be your own person
A good one here is BME includes Black and Pakistani families.
Without the black families being more Caribbean than African on a whole.
They are all included as BME but Black families are far more likely to be children without a Father Figure and Pakistani's nearly always do have a Father figure.
but it's the same stat
I've seen some pretty cringe-inducing videos featuring Korean American women who claimed it was cultural appropriation for white women to try on Kimonos (on loan by actual Japanese people)
they were probably protesting because it would give them university course credit <:pepe_smug:378719408341909506>
I see stuff like that as Religous dress like a Sari
but it's beautiful so whatever
a kimono is not religious at all, though
ye
If its anything religious just donβt. If its a cultural thing and you like it. Go ahead. Just have some respect for it lol.
And I donβt see Why people would be angry at Anyone wearing a kimono
or don't
even if it's religious
but there's some retarded stuff going on with some asian people in the US with roots in Korea, claiming custodianship of _all_ asian cultures
and then the usual "cultural appropriation" bs ensues
