@Fitzydog
Well I think most people make mistakes because they only know *what* happened and not *why*. What is always only half the picture. You cannot make informed decisions if you do not know the why. I'm at a point where I spend a lot of time training younger men. Teaching them what is easy. Teaching them why makes them professionals.
Nah, I just mean, this is an old discussion on this server
Really? How odd.
Yes, he's also pro-EU
Oh I did not mean any personality. Rather the functional nature of the design.
I mean being pro-EU is a stylistic choice like being pro-flat earth. It doesn't make the concept viable.....

I mean fuck. Germany has an economy that is almost half exports. Put that in an economic union where Nobody has the same productivity and you get what? Dependence on economies that can never achieve trade balance. How o you fix that? Duechbank makes unsustainable loans to half the continent then throws a fit when they don't get paid. I mean fuck me silly and call me Wanda. Is anyone surprised that this did not work out?
Who thought this was a good idea they must be Belgian or something.........
Or this isn't even their final form...
It's just, remarkably stupid. It's like they stole the worst outcomes of a federal system and skipped all of the good ones.
Will Greece cut and run on the investment? Bet your sweet ass the only way they wouldn't is if they can produce goods in equal volume to *fucking Germany* not gonna happen. Spain? Italy? Fucking Moldova??? Oh yeah and lets put them all on the same currency so default is impossible. Just because, you know, it wasn't retarded enough to begin with.
belgian have the best ideas just look at congo how wonderful that turned out
Hitchens is trending so I clicked to find out why

```A no-deal Brexit would hand the EU enormous power: it would decide how and when to introduce new frictions between the UK and the single market``` do these people legitimately believe that trade does not exist outside the single market?
it boggles my mind
Economic independence would benefit the european countries more than a single market
They don't seem to understand it
they fear change because that means the politician gravy train ends
I think any economic prediction for more than 7 days into the future is worthless
and even then it's more about luck than expertise
(unless you have hyper-specific inside trader knowledge)
also, why do these remoaners peddle this "EU is going to punish the UK for brexit" FUD nonsense -- it just makes the EU look evil and spiteful
"oh yeah, let's remain in this union that often introduces new frictions to the market and the only way to ensure those frictions won't hurt trade is to be part of that friction"
meanwhile, the continent continues to stagnate economically
It also assumes our politicians will do nothing and watch them do it to us... mind you, with our current crop of politicians, that's probably what they would do.
I think the bigger risk will be from within - there are Brexiteers that are "elites", who are waiting to make a killing at the expense of the country - not patriots, just opportunists that would sell the family silver for a quick buck.
