I would listen to Sam Harris more if I could stand his voice

Just the sound of his voice fills me with unrelenting rage.

Like, I totally get what Peterson is trying to get across. Makes perfect sense to me.

But he uses too much metaphysical language to get his points across, which turns some people off who aren't paying too close attention to the content of his message

And I have nowhere to direct it because I can't disagree with him

Yeah, but if you could explain any of this to a 5 year old, we wouldn't have come up with religion

his 12 rules, stated as they are, are easy to follow

the chapters are for the Big Brain Deep Think explanation

of why you should follow them and the full details of the rules

I have read the book I completely disagree with the philosophy.

I know for a fact that those 12 rules will not work for everyone.
