because fuck you
Why does it seem like the elites just want to keep poor countries down forever?
They never looked after the railways we gave them π€·πΏ
They can't maintain a bike. Why give them Hydropower?
"Weather not sustainable"
wat
yes, let's stop using constant sources for electricity
how about instead we all switch to giant gasoline power plants
get rid of wind and solar, let's use coal instead!
GOOD CLEAN AMAERICAN COAL!
The authors say their big worry is that many of the bigger projects will do irreparable damage to the major rivers on which they are likely to be built.
that's what rivers do
they change
we speed up the process like a hundred or a thousand years for a small part of it
which is tiny
an unnoticeable blip in time
except if it affects the people who depend on the river, it's not a blip to them
it's not creating a nuclear wasteland, it's changing the biome from woodland/jungle/whatever, to river/lake
and I went down south and everyone is protesting it
and I'm like "what the fuck, where do you idiots think your power is coming from?"
Either way, *why the hell are we telling the third world how to industrialize their nations??*
Cuz we know how it's done
So?
So they can learn from us
Or would they rather still live in mud huts?
Sure, they can come here, get educated and then go back
Uh, no
hold it right there pal
We can just tell them what we did
because we got
And how we did it
Like intellectual foreign aid
But the niggers stay where they are

@Deleted User I think you're missing the context here.
Some of these international environmental treaties force the third world to act a certain way, or prevent them from using certain resources in a manner we consider "unclean"
Oh, well
My bad then
