I got fucked with early on in my activism career by a hater of mine who used his powerful connections to spread lies and rumors about me, which locked me out of a lot of the movement. It's now a decade later and the guy has dropped it. But I really haven't gotten over it, and I don't want anybody else exposed to that sort of capricious, cliquish elitism.
