2019-02-10 03:23:49 UTC

@AlanPowell yeah I would agree with that, voting for Trump on principle, or on what I feel he represents - an antidote to leftist irrationality - which I feel pervades personalities and daily behaviour and is in no way limited to politics.

But for the record I live in Australia and my feelings are academic because of it

2019-02-10 03:23:50 UTC

My culture is more important

2019-02-10 03:23:50 UTC

2019-02-10 03:25:02 UTC

@JohnStrasser I heard recently that they used to view the Irish as being below the blacks. Virtually sub human. Why was that? (not a loaded question). But feel free to ignore to carry on your current conversation

2019-02-10 03:25:11 UTC

thats a lefty meme

2019-02-10 03:25:31 UTC

anti irish sentiments existed because they came and drove down the wages

2019-02-10 03:25:32 UTC

2019-02-10 03:25:46 UTC

but everyone knew they were white

2019-02-10 03:25:59 UTC

@JohnStrasser oh that makes sense. That's a likely common catalyst for racism I guess

2019-02-10 03:26:00 UTC

They got along with blacks well though

2019-02-10 03:26:07 UTC

whomst

2019-02-10 03:26:07 UTC

Thus, the 'black irish'

2019-02-10 03:26:15 UTC

until they didnt

2019-02-10 03:26:27 UTC

because they were members of different racial groups

2019-02-10 03:26:40 UTC

there will always be racial conflict

2019-02-10 03:26:59 UTC

Most Irish haven't had issues with blacks, only the Protestant English whites

2019-02-10 03:27:01 UTC

race>culture>politics

2019-02-10 03:27:23 UTC

less exposure=less conflicts

2019-02-10 03:27:29 UTC
