you need to go pure ssd for storage

2019-11-01 14:50:08 UTC

just install the games you actually play

2019-11-01 14:50:54 UTC

you could also buy a little cheap ssd to put windows on

2019-11-01 14:51:07 UTC

and use the 500 for just games

2019-11-01 14:51:41 UTC

keeping steam library outside of windows related folders

2019-11-01 16:19:47 UTC

2019-11-01 16:29:52 UTC

Double FOrward, meaning with higher end GPUs its SCREECHING

2019-11-01 16:30:47 UTC

TL;DR its lioke renewed China Tyres on your Toyota 86

2019-11-01 18:16:13 UTC

How has Blizzard vetted so many people?

2019-11-01 18:16:21 UTC

Not a single Winnie running on stage.

Oof, he just admitted there are Blizzard employees in the audience.

2019-11-01 22:01:19 UTC

Blizz employees attend as workers and probably get free tickets as well

2019-11-01 22:01:34 UTC

So it's probably not that incriminating

2019-11-01 22:14:07 UTC

Wow, they reskinned diablo 3

2019-11-01 23:23:53 UTC

yeah seems pretty bad and limited in classes

2019-11-02 02:58:38 UTC

https://youtu.be/k77cNMgwQCI Yeah I change my mind, this looks cartoonish as hell, especially the American elite.

2019-11-02 03:01:20 UTC

Like, the Japanese elite would look plausible without the two katanas on his back. Katanas, and swords in general, always carried by the waist, and even then, swords were only used for ceremonial purposes, not for combat, for the officer to commit sepuku.

2019-11-02 03:06:00 UTC

The katanas should be used like any other melee weapon. A brutal finishing kill when you've exhausted all other options. Like Tom Sullivan's death from WaW. No anime style slashing or actual swordplay.

2019-11-02 03:13:20 UTC

man, the outer world seems so bland, uninspiring, boring characters. It looks beautiful but the setting sucks

2019-11-02 03:13:57 UTC

it sounds like a cool concept, but totally just bland sci-fi, bland assets, bland narrative

2019-11-02 03:42:37 UTC

@Smoke It's the opposite for me. I don't like it's take on retro-futurism, you could tell they really wanted to be like Fallout in that regard, but the roaring 20s and cyberpunk don't jive well.

2019-11-02 03:47:55 UTC

The question I have is, how did Obsidian go from Caesar's Legion to "your companion is aesexual".

2019-11-02 03:49:23 UTC

ya, 90% of the characters are lesbians with short hair

2019-11-02 03:49:26 UTC

ZZzzzzz

2019-11-02 03:49:35 UTC

and not even unique or interesting characters

2019-11-02 03:50:09 UTC

I think/hope cyberpunk is gonna blow this out of the water. This feels super dated with nice graphics / few decent mechanics on top

2019-11-02 03:50:41 UTC

Fallout New Vegas had homosexuality but it was for the sake of roleplay as opposed to political point scoring.

2019-11-02 03:51:38 UTC

Ya, I don't even care as long as there is some actual story/drama behind it

2019-11-02 03:52:11 UTC

One of your companions, Arcade Ganon, is gay. He's just gay. The game dosen't make a big deal about it, and he dosen't even "come out" to you, he just *is* gay.

2019-11-02 03:53:32 UTC

One of the ways to secure him as a companion is by flirting with him, if your character has the Confirmed Bachelor perk.

2019-11-02 03:55:26 UTC

He was always my favourite companion in New Vegas, though he's definitely a subtle leftist.

2019-11-02 03:55:43 UTC

eh...ya idk. Its just so boring. There no drama. You can pretty much choose whatever action you want and everything works out for you

2019-11-02 03:55:54 UTC

I think they didn't spend enough time on writing

2019-11-02 03:56:05 UTC

dialogue is decent, but overarching drama isn't

2019-11-02 03:56:09 UTC

As for Obsidian's *transition*, I have a feeling that the guilty factor is the one shared by any other dev who made a great game back in the day but has not captured that exact same magic in their modern entries. The gradual *replacement* of their original team. See Bungie and Blizzard for instance.

2019-11-02 03:56:32 UTC

True. All these young diversity hires.

2019-11-02 03:57:12 UTC

Look at what happened to cyberpunk and how the faces of CD Projekt RED's team has changed since it was announced in '15 compared to this year
