do they serve a purpose beyond just being cool?

they're supposed to protect the cows - they are aggressive towards predators and sort of 'embed' themselves with other herd animals

like a cow will usually just freak out and run away if there's some sort of predator, unless its a mom cow and its threatening her baby

dude cows are more agressive than donkeys

but donkeys run up and beat the shit out of things

got a herd with a donkey here too

in my experience cows are not really aggressive at all

they put the donkey with them because it kept screaming when it was alone
