A father realizing he failed his son

2019-11-27 12:23:14 UTC

Rough

2019-11-27 12:24:00 UTC

I'm a computer nerd but I wonder if it wouldn't be better for a child to be raised without being stuck in front of a screen all hours of the day

2019-11-27 12:24:17 UTC

aaa that just it if your a father and your son fails if you that has fail

2019-11-27 12:25:12 UTC

@The Eternal Swede its true..... show me a shity kid or failed person..... i bet 9.5/10 their parents fucking suck

2019-11-27 12:27:51 UTC

Yeah, putting the responsibility on the kid for being raised wrong is kinda pants-on-head

2019-11-27 12:28:12 UTC

no the kid did not have a voice in it

2019-11-27 12:28:30 UTC

its not their fault is the parents fault

2019-11-27 12:28:35 UTC

At least in the very earliest adulthood, obviously their whole life and all their decisions as an adult aren't solely the parent's fault

2019-11-27 12:29:08 UTC

i would disagree hardmode

2019-11-27 12:30:27 UTC

just the stats on single mothers proves that early childhood development is going to be the key to raising a successful adult

2019-11-27 12:31:15 UTC

Yes

2019-11-27 12:31:28 UTC

I live with my grandma. She's a brilliant parent but I lacked a father figure.

2019-11-27 12:31:44 UTC

But if you were raised and by all accounts a well-adjusted person, you can still make shitty decisions later on. It can't *all* be on the parents, forever

2019-11-27 12:32:06 UTC

I can be your daddy, @Weaboo Kempeitai

2019-11-27 12:33:19 UTC

I don't think a bad upbringing justifies bad behaviour always. Somtimes parents fail their kids, but those kids can still fail their parents, and ultimately the parents fail society but not raising the kid right, but they can't bare all or even most of the responsibility.

2019-11-27 12:34:54 UTC

@Weaboo Kempeitai look at me look at me... me and @The Eternal Swede are your fathers now
