everything happens too fast, no one has time to adapt

2019-10-29 21:50:52 UTC

I would say most people with depression dont actually have "mental illness"

2019-10-29 21:50:53 UTC

I was having schizophrenic symptoms

2019-10-29 21:50:59 UTC

and now especially, people are being worked to the bone for small paychecks

2019-10-29 21:51:00 UTC

Now none at all anymore

2019-10-29 21:51:02 UTC

modern lifestyle and environment are unequivocally the problem

2019-10-29 21:51:04 UTC

it is no wonder they feel sick

2019-10-29 21:51:05 UTC

there is no discussion

2019-10-29 21:51:06 UTC

most people I know who have had schizophrenia have used a lot of drugs, one even mentioned they can pinpoint the time it started to shooting up a speed ball (heroin mixed with cocaine i think)

2019-10-29 21:51:07 UTC

They're just having natural reactions to awful lifestyles

2019-10-29 21:51:08 UTC

Disorganized thoughts and paranoia

2019-10-29 21:51:14 UTC

also people are becoming anti-social

2019-10-29 21:51:20 UTC

Also hallucinations

2019-10-29 21:51:25 UTC

without Human interaction people become depressed

2019-10-29 21:51:29 UTC

that's anecdotal, but I don't see a lot of evidence to say otherwise

2019-10-29 21:51:45 UTC

This is such a strawman. Why is it "drugs vs lifestyle changes"? Literally what psychologist wouldn't recommend exercise and getting a good night's sleep to sombody who is depressed regardless of what drugs they're perscribed? Nobody is saying drugs are a fix-all, though many treat them like that.

2019-10-29 21:52:05 UTC

why, after these drugs were developed, did depression rates not drop

2019-10-29 21:52:11 UTC

psychology is a scam like most of medical science

2019-10-29 21:52:14 UTC

but instead steadily rose

2019-10-29 21:52:20 UTC

the drugs mostly just treat symptoms

2019-10-29 21:52:25 UTC

Because of society and environment. Also, because depression is overdiagnosed

2019-10-29 21:52:25 UTC

or try to numb the feeling

2019-10-29 21:52:27 UTC

vs this

2019-10-29 21:52:33 UTC

they don't actually solve the underlying problem

2019-10-29 21:52:34 UTC

depression is underdiagnosed

2019-10-29 21:52:41 UTC

if you have an absolutist position you're not being scientific minded

2019-10-29 21:52:47 UTC

pysch drugs can help absolutely

2019-10-29 21:52:49 UTC

Thats $20 worth of fine Detroit real estate there

2019-10-29 21:52:55 UTC

@esotericpazuzuism one time I was at a hotel in South America that looked like the first picture

2019-10-29 21:53:00 UTC

it was better than my apartment 😄

2019-10-29 21:53:20 UTC

and for two nights I only paid like 100-200 dollars

2019-10-29 21:53:26 UTC

i would buy those houses just to tear them down and re-sell the bricks

2019-10-29 21:53:35 UTC

If I could take control of a depressed persons life I can guarantee to cure his/her depression in a year

2019-10-29 21:54:08 UTC

@Nerthulas See the inflammation piece?
