Is HBO watchmen really leftist propaganda? Or is the leftist government portrayed in the show supposed to be bad? It seems like they were trying to portray it as dystopic, but leftists are only paying attention to the villifiying of Nazis.
@Deleted User o shit

hehe 🙂
@DarthSammich you sure? Or is that just how many people watching it feel? I think the creators might be making a "both sides" argument.
To me it looks one-sided. I don't see anyone making the argument that the lefty stuff is bad in any way
Whats REALLY interesting is...... we don't know if all this is just Normal for Tulsa, or the whole US
They dont say
Tulsa?
sry wat?
That's not the point. It's what the creators are trying to portray. Many agreed with the ideaolgy and methods of Rorschach, though that was not what Alan Moore intended.
@themiddleman🐸 Tulsa, Oklahoma
what happened there
And that is MY point. The writers are trying to portray this as GOOD in their mind, but others are interpreting it differently.
But they are such shit writers its really hard to tell what they are trying to convey
I don't think that's the case. I think cops here aren't nurtured when they're allowed to execute with impunity. I think the "no guns" rule is a public image thing. I think the creators aim to portray this as bad.
But yeah, that dosen't stop it from being a bad show.
So far it's failed to catch my attention.
