normies have to pick up on this after a while, right?
and so they are countering the dissident right as well as some lefties
because if they didn't the criticism of israel and jews would bring some results
or they think it would
like they are trying to hammer it back down and have to hammer harder because it is sticking out more
It's a completely irrational stance though
I have never understood why Israel is so important to some americans
but you have
money
Geopolitically sure, it's a nice military base to go invade oil rich countries, perhaps?
and other levers of power
But yes, other than that the only reason I can imagine is that the actors are paid to promote it
But I don't recognize that as a rational stance, merely a bought one
also politicians, think tanks, etc.
they are well networked
everything rests on a pile of irrationality
always has
and must
If that's how you truly feel, why not just kill yourself?
No, because you have some sense of rationality
Don't try to squirm away with "but it's all like, meaningless bro"
irrationality could lead you to kill yourself or not
<:picard:429195062266691595>
rationality can't lead you to do anything
POPlitics
(without some irrationality)
@JFGariepy please review an episode of POPlitics when it is available
When I say "irrational stance" I mean it's not one you can reasonably defend with arguments based on the self-interests of the nation
I thought it was obvious based on us talking about political stances, but maybe it's worth clarifying
the individual actors in the system that results in support for israel are acting rationally to some extent
Which nation?
If you get paid to push a stance, "I got $500 from my rabbi" is not a rational argument for why Israel is our greatest ally
Alhamdulillah
Epstein is
they are acting rationally
i didn't say they are saying rational things
