yes, its a spectrum, thats why the DSM is actually VERY reasonable in this regard, most mental conditions are only considered disorders if they cause distress for the person who has them

I have severe ADHD. To say that I shouldn't treat it as a disorder would probalby kill me

@21ooAB No, it is a disorder, not an illness, you can make an informed decision to regulate yourself, so you are not mentally defective. We all regulate ourselves. Fasting is a form of self-regulation and mental conditioning, taking drugs is no different.
