I relate to the part about phones. I try not to look at my phone when I'm with other people, even if it's quiet or boring, just in case someone wants to talk or I miss something happening around me. I feel like a dickhead looking and tapping on my phone like I'm deliberately trying to disconnect from the humans around me. Doesn't always work but I try.
