You want me to explain how I believe this?

2019-11-10 01:23:56 UTC

I think you probably agree they are exploitative and missleading no?

2019-11-10 01:24:11 UTC

Most products you buy are exploitative and misleading.

2019-11-10 01:24:43 UTC

Oh, you need to eat, and you have to pay for food, so you're exploited. Boohoo.

This is under the “Game addiction: Neuroscience” chapter

Yes, game addiction is a spook. Literally made up by the medical community at the behest of lazy parents.

2019-11-10 01:25:43 UTC

when I buy a cheeseburger I don't have to pay extra for the new sauce they put on it that they did not advertise would be a potential at any point after they release the burger onto the menu

2019-11-10 01:25:52 UTC

Or is it a actual phenomenon people have witnessed and are trying to combat?

2019-11-10 01:25:53 UTC

Parents are dumb. They deserve to wrack up $1000 in bills because they gave Timmy access to their credit cards because they were too busy to raise him.

2019-11-10 01:26:18 UTC

Also I’m pretty goddamn sure there is studies on social media and phone addiction

2019-11-10 01:26:37 UTC

@snake Describe what you think addiction actually is, because I've never seen sombody get withdrawals from not playing video games. There is no physical addiction, just a psychological dependancy. You literally choose to play games all day.

2019-11-10 01:26:46 UTC

this place has it's limits due to jew

2019-11-10 01:27:00 UTC

Some drugs don’t give physical addiction

2019-11-10 01:27:07 UTC

But are still addictive as hell

Whatever releases endorphins and serotonin can possibly lead to repetative actions to regain the feels

2019-11-10 01:28:02 UTC

eventually this can lead to an addiction

2019-11-10 01:28:13 UTC

Addiction requires an actual, physical chemical reaction.

Using your extremely loose definition of addiction, everything is addictive. If you have a big enough void, you will find any outlet.

2019-11-10 01:28:19 UTC

and my favorite definition is "something you cannot stop doing"

2019-11-10 01:28:43 UTC
2019-11-10 01:28:51 UTC

2019-11-10 01:28:54 UTC

2019-11-10 01:29:10 UTC

theres physical addictions and mental ones why does the latter not exist?

2019-11-10 01:29:11 UTC

You are always wrong

2019-11-10 01:29:16 UTC

HAHA

2019-11-10 01:29:56 UTC

because in the end it's physical

2019-11-10 01:30:02 UTC

it exists in the brain

2019-11-10 01:30:23 UTC

You don't know that it's physical

2019-11-10 01:30:27 UTC

All you know are precepts

2019-11-10 01:30:33 UTC

percepts rather

2019-11-10 01:30:37 UTC

is the brain physical?
