i just don't think people like @Medman should carry knives. they are a danger to themselves, and the community 😂

2019-12-15 21:54:02 UTC

i carry one pretty much all the time. but im white so i don't threaten people with it

2019-12-15 21:54:32 UTC

i stopped carrying them when i started working with bugmen

2019-12-15 21:59:18 UTC

someone here was fired from their job because a co-worker invited them to their car during lunch break, to look at their new firearm, and a different bugman co-worker told on them

2019-12-15 21:59:37 UTC

yes, i was just remembering that

2019-12-15 22:05:55 UTC

Just watching TV you get a taste of the mentality of ppl who are “anti-gun” or knife, and it’s one of simplistic morality, performative fear and pretentiousness. I got my first gun age 12, and was taught safety and because I wasn’t stupid or crazy I didn’t really need any moral lessons. But many ppl just know gun bad knife bad gun kill knife kill, therefore you have you bad. It’s the attitude of a combination helpless victim and naive idealist.

Disney is basically a small private country. Disney literally name their private security after their own properties. They call bomb sniffer dog crews "Plutos". It's crazy.

2019-12-15 22:23:44 UTC

Ngl it sounds like quite the experience working there.

2019-12-15 22:24:33 UTC

They're also definitely armed. A theme park is under threat by terror attacks, but also from hostile wildlife. They also keep actual crocodiles on the premises.
