@JFGariepy hey JF, I’ve read that there are over 20 genes that determine skin color. Is it incorrect for someone to say that light skin is recessive or dominant over dark skin?

I read this from another biologist.. seems to say light skin is dominant?

@JFGariepy say if the entire planet mixed. Would there still be light skinned individuals? Skin types typically found in Europe and East Asia

@JFGariepy my question is in response to the notion that “white” skin is recessive” I’m wondering if there is truth to this or there isn’t a definitive answer because it’s a number of genes that come into play in determining someone’s skin tone
