is low carb ok for muscle gain as well? i generally don't want to eat carbs
Yeah. Meat only works just fine.
Idk about meat only, but usually cutting carbs is for weight loss, not weight/muscle gain
To gain muscle you bulk by eating extra calories. This will come with some fat gain as well, so then you cut calories while still lifting to lose the fat and gain better definition
It's just a cycle of bulk, cut, bulk, cut
That's what the common philosophy is in the States anyway
Here are the ratios for your sources of calories for the different phases
great , thanks
Currently experiencing trouble with the elbow planks.
I usually end up collapsing after about ten seconds
Then start with 10 seconds
and then 11

Had to start buying new trousers. Still the same size, but it appears I no longer fit in a slim fit/off-the-rack tailored fit.
Squats n' deadlifts are clearly doing something right.
cant forget those oats brother
No, you cannot have my oats
@Based Chav i had such trouble finding fitting pants when doing Stronglifts
Had to always get stuff with a huge waste just so it would fit my quads
Eventually found that "Athletic fit" jeans work pretty well
Mine have a bit of stretch to them
And I meant American "pants", not British "pants" <:ohyou2:569616856105877505>
I gathered.
Never understood why these beginner routines all have such heavy emphasis on squats.
They work out literally everything south of the titty
It sucks to do them but i get it
core, lower back, every part of the leg
That said, they're important for priming the body for excercise
Good for upping your testosterone too

Doing split squats rn.
They're good.
