There are two job markets

There is the job market for failed people who desperately need a handful of dollars in their 40s, so having wasted their lives they only have these jobs available

Then thereis the job market for those who have actually developed skills/knowledge

Having the first while studying is hugely detrimental

So tell those boomers that you are focusing on your studies instead of being a mediocre idiot who sacrifices his future for being a wageslave in some department store

My dad worked his ass off and went places blue collar, he's a janitor now but blames himself and doesn't realize that's a product of the job market rejecting anyone without the paper that says you know things, my mom hadn't had a job in 20 years till she started working as a high school TA a couple years ago, so they still think if you're honest and hardworking that means literally anything in the corporate world

Being hardworking right now for you is finishing your studies with the highest possible grade

Yeah, I have a schedule, but there are no windows and the light stays the same, and I work in the middle of the store. There is no visual difference between 9 AM and 10 PM

pray for my friend whose wife just left him and their two kids to be with another dude

Please pray for my grandfather he suffered a heart attack this evening and is hospitalized. And pray for my grandmother as she is in hysterics. Our family is gathered at their home trying to comfort her. We do not know what to expect. Thank you for any good well wishes you can spare at this time for our family.

There's some massive thunderstorms comin in because of a hurricane but it's possible it may cause a tornado to form up in my area. Let's pray if don't happen 🙏
