Mental illness =/= possesion
That being said, it could be possesion if diagnosis proves negative
Always keep holy water near with these people
But don’t tell them
They’ll feel uneasy near it
If possessed
In principle, then?
Let's say they just have a clinical disorder
I don't know if you think I was, but I wasn't conflating the two @MawLr
In principle, in order to say someone is possessed, mental illness has to be discarded
In the case you mentioned, said person would have to stop taking meds to be exorcised first
If a cobba has multiple personalities then maybe he's got more than one soul in his body 🤔
Actually a plot point in jojo. A guy has a split personality and one part of his personality has a stand and the other doesn't. His entire body morphs to the mental age of the personality he's under. 2 souls in one body, and in the end to attain full control he kills the other soul. I'll spoil to hard if I talk further lol

Metaphysics behind it though is interesting.

Eh, I think mental stuff is largely just simple issues that feel complicated because crazy people don't typically hold on to any reliable baseline. I'm sure when our bodies are eternally healed they'll be all of the person they are, rather than the many they think they might be.
That was my idea
that in heavenly perfection, there will be only one soul without flaws
pretty much. There is also this phenimenom called terminal ludicity
I have no idea where to post this, but i think this channel is most fitting. I have a problem. I basically feel contact with god, but i am unsure if i really am lutheran. I am a member of the Swedish Church mainly out of tradition. In recent years the Swedish Church has made some wierd statements though. Like calling Greta Thunberg "the new Jesus". They also support projects where mosques and churches are built in the same building. In short, i dont know what kind of christian i really am. How do i know? Help?
I'd just say, don't be afraid to visit other denominations and do research on the theological differences. Also try to find a different church within the same denomination with perhaps a sane priest and parish.
Swedish Lutheranis church is cancer, if you're Lutheran find an Orthodox Lutheran church. Non-orthodox Lutherans are a good 90% brazen heretics who worship progressive politics over the God of the universe.
If you told me that every year you eat a rusty pair of scissors I would find it less strange
Whatever you question, I guarantee that what you shouldnt be is part of that satanic abomination that is the "church" of Sweden
Yeah you guys are probably right. As i said i have only been part of the Swedish Church becasue my parents baptised me in it. My parents are not religious, and i was the same for a long while. My family basically stays in the Swedish Church because it holds some traditional and cultural value. It is in recent months i started to feel religious for real. I guess i have to read and research more to find out what kind of christian i am, because as of now, the Swedish Church feels cucked. I don't even know if i really am Lutheran.
*begum*
*gadolig* *bruder*
i am no muslim
Is there any good books (except the bible) or internet sources where i can read more?
i dont have anything on hand but perhaps the <#435529095166689310> channel does
What about the catechism
sure i more meant online resources
Luther's Catechism is a start if you want to learn about Lutheranism
Begone, heathen
He wants to know if he's a Lutheran, no better way to find out 🤷
I have no idea what i am at all, might aswell be catholic
BEGUM
in all seriousness though dont fret, you'll figure it out as long as you keep looking around and doing your research
personally I would have been fine staying lutheran my whole life if I could find a traditional lutheran church but as a fellow scandinavian thats near impossible lol
Therefore = Catholic
