Revelation 2:9
**Revelation 2:9 - Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)**
```Dust
<9> I know thy tribulation and thy poverty, but thou art rich: and thou art blasphemed by them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. ```
It says Jews aren't real
Hello everyone, Mozalbete is thinking of doing a bible study/apologetics class. If there is anything you would like to study or learn or whatever, give me your suggestions. This is all.
For clarification, this will be text based, you will have to read materials on your own time and then ask questions in this chat. It's more about motivating people to study since I know all of us put it off constantly, except Mozal because he's insane.
The idea is to keep it easy to join and with topics peoplw would like to cover. I will give some examples tomorrow
Now this is epic
There is no signing up, you just read and ask questions
Ok
Regarding the list of topics, I want to make a small list, some of my ideas:
* About theological fatalism, that is, the fedorastic idea that omniscience is incompatible with free will and therefore God causes a contradiction. Apart from considerations about presentism and God's existence outside time, there are at least writings by Augustine about it
* About Christ's declared divinity. Everything related to destroying the idea that Christ isn't God, or that he doesn't identify as God, or any similar heresy. Summa contra gentiles is a great resource here
* The same, but about the Holy Spirit
* About the prophecies fulfilled by Christ, and why two arrivals of the Messiah are clear. Great apologetics against the perfidious jews
* Against the idea of several lives, by scripture and, at the very least, St Justin's martyr dialogue with Typho (or whatever the name was), at the beginning
* On the duty to rebuke evil, agains le don't judge retards
* On the unique historicity of Christianity: the way events unfold, they are described by the gospels, the time frame of the events and early Church, etc
I will think of more tomorrow
Psalm 137:9
@SUPER MALE VITALITY™ Let us know if there are some interesting topics that came up in your former studies
We could get into eschatology <:wojaksoy:515271052071534592> <:30yroldboomer:559771742504091648>
But also unironically we could dab on premillennialism at least
Also idk how interested folks here would be, but the role of marriage traced through the entirety of scripture is fascinating
The symbolism of the act and practice and how that relates back into scripture I've always found super cool
At first I would ocus on dabbing on attacks on Christianity to arm people
Well understanding marriage is a big part of being prepared to defend the family, especially in relation to where scripture talks about the evils of divorce
Eschatology is basically worthless but it's good to have a working knowledge to dab on boomers
I'm way too tired to think of anything more useful rn though lol
True. If well developped it would go against lots of different ways of degeneracy
np, better rest
I'll think on it tomorrow and maybe flip through some old notes, first time I've ever regretted not taking more I think lol
