Sorry I meant to say sangria
oh boy you need ripperger to free u from ur demon
No matter where you see it from, it’s not excusable at all
It really seems like you fellows are just looking for things to be offended by at this point
"There are 6 ways curiosity can be sinful:
1. Seeking knowledge for the sake of pride.
2. Learning for the sake of how to commit a sinful act.
3. Studying something at the expense of learning what you should according to duty.
4. Attempting to learn illicit knowledge. As in, occult or diabolical things.
5. Desiring to know earthly or temporal things with no desire to learn heavenly or religious things.
6. Wanting to inquire into things beyond your intellectual ability."
I'm just saying
occultism and all discussion of it
Mr. Vitality, I would love to have this discussion with you, but not here or now.
should not be allowed
Mawlr, once again, I am very thankful for your input before all this riff raff showed up.
it's not something we need to know
Mallet man, get fucked nerd.
I wanted a tank drum, but because of the spiritual influence of symbols I spent two weeks designing something free from any symbol not rooted in the church so the edgy stoner making it wouldn't sit me with some pagan hippie bullshit. I don't regret a second of it, because I know I never need to worry about meditating on scripture or in prayer while playing it, at least any more than usual. It's dangerous shit, especially if you've been decieved into its mundanity or "benefit"
In anything even periphery to paganism there is danger more than one can fathom for those not walking strictly in the light of Christ, and in the forebears who have blazed that narrow road
Rule 1 buddy
and how it should not be discussed
and grengar please no meanie
Tbf not discussing occultism early is how we get Grengar
It's like reading apocryphal literature
next thing you know you're a gnostic
yikes
Occultism needs to be discussed, and rebuffed before the foothold enters
@mallet man oof
same with gnosticism
In fact this whole energy thing sounded like manicheanism/gnosticism from the very beginning
I'd be a gnostic had not I had good conversations with people familliar with the texts before I got to them, who told me where they came from and what their significance is if any
Thank God I was surrounded by men of God and not shrinking violets
Gnosticism was one of the real problematic herecies in the early church
Yet you’re a prot my dude
Sorta
Nobody's perfect
I see that rcia tag and my heart is filled with hope
Return home..
Stop being a prot
not trying to be a jerk, but this is just really spiritually dangerous. It'll lead you down bad paths, potentially open you up to demonic influences, and get you thinking about things *other* than what we KNOW is the path to salvation. There's no need to be an explorer trying to figure out a new way to find salvation through occult symbols and techniques. Stick to what works. Everything else, this esoteric knowledge and use of occult methods, that was not necessary for the Saints, and it will never be needed or recommended. Come to Christ through humility, obedience, and sanctity, and you will be fine.
