Idk really, was shared in a friend's discord, I don't have time to dump into strategy games anymore lmao

2019-07-13 08:35:03 UTC

Lmao.

2019-07-13 15:08:51 UTC

Doom 2016 is super fun

2019-07-13 16:21:53 UTC

Been wondering if I should get it

2019-07-13 16:22:04 UTC

2019-07-13 16:59:02 UTC

I remembered a game worthy of my autism

2019-07-13 16:59:06 UTC

Heroes of Hammerwatch

2019-07-13 17:01:04 UTC

Looks complicated.

2019-07-13 17:01:11 UTC

Risk of Rain nationalism.

2019-07-13 17:12:27 UTC

@Dasick how do you wind down after a workday if not with vidya? Just curious

2019-07-13 20:30:54 UTC

right now i mostly just go to sleep

2019-07-13 20:31:01 UTC

sometimes i have karate practice

2019-07-13 20:31:11 UTC

arts, books, movies

2019-07-13 20:31:20 UTC

taking a walk

2019-07-13 20:31:37 UTC

spending time in prayer or just sitting in a dark room with a hot drink

2019-07-13 20:32:46 UTC

but also, winding down after a workday isnt the same as pumping hours upon hours into a game

2019-07-13 21:04:15 UTC

True

2019-07-13 21:04:49 UTC

Sometimes I just wanna tune out and do something that doesn't involve too much thinking

2019-07-13 21:05:22 UTC

Probably also happens once you get your feet wet in a real hobby

2019-07-13 21:05:32 UTC

I used to be like that with playing guitar

2019-07-13 21:16:40 UTC

Instruments are probably the best hobby to have tbh, besides maybe something practical like woodworking. Knowing how to play music has an odd amount of random benefits broadly through general life

2019-07-13 21:19:25 UTC

How so?

2019-07-13 21:20:27 UTC

I know at least that my being able to play stuff by ear is probably related to my having good pronunciation when learning languages

2019-07-13 21:21:00 UTC

same

2019-07-13 21:24:06 UTC

Generally it's just good for helping your brain process information, and you kinda get a sense for the world around you apart from non-musical people

2019-07-13 21:24:49 UTC

Also it's a skill that you can share with other people, that doesn't require a massive investment of time like art

2019-07-13 21:26:24 UTC

It's a very social hobby even for antisocial people, everyone likes a dude who can plqy an instrument well (as long as the instrument isn't too esoteric or specifically hated, like the banjo or bagpipes in some circles)
