James, I know this is late in the game but I have the same problem. This girl, Laura, has Mormon parents and instead of addressing the problem and finding a solution, they shun her for it. It's too late for me now as she wants to be called Jake and has taken too many of the "shots" to change back from what she has become. Don't make the same mistake I did. You need to address the problem directly, find her catalyst, and try negating it or destroying it before she makes the choice to ruin her entire being!
