>No, not at all.
>It's all a rather nihilistic vaccuum, tbh
Or it is exactly the fulfillment and it's what happens when you mix cultures, even similar ones

The American Federation aka “the Union” is no different than the EU

2018-08-16 16:28:48 UTC

We need to exit the Union

2018-08-16 16:29:04 UTC

There are many nations under Union occupation

2018-08-16 16:29:13 UTC

The South/Dixie

2018-08-16 16:29:25 UTC

The Pacific Northwest/Cascadia

2018-08-16 16:29:41 UTC

The North aka Vinland

Has anyone read The Disunited States of America by Henry Turtledove?

2018-08-16 16:58:50 UTC

It’s a fascinating book where the US never became a united country and each state became its own nation with vastly different cultures some of which would constantly eat with one another.

2018-08-16 16:58:58 UTC

*war not eat

2018-08-16 17:02:52 UTC

America is the result of an oligarchal secession lead by Freemasons and funded by the French.

2018-08-16 17:04:24 UTC

@Byzas Latin’s still used in the western orthodox rite afaik

2018-08-16 17:04:48 UTC

Indeed!

2018-08-16 17:04:51 UTC

It’s a beautiful language. Liturgical languages are in general.

2018-08-16 17:04:58 UTC

I agree

2018-08-16 17:05:29 UTC

I almost converted via Western rite bit there was a Byzantine church a bit closer to home

2018-08-16 17:06:37 UTC

Same, but I found a russian Orthodox Church that did the Liturgy in English and Slavonic that was much closer and I enjoy it.

2018-08-16 17:07:08 UTC

My parish uses a little bit of Slavonic, mostly English though
serbs

2018-08-16 17:08:19 UTC

I’m gonna visit the western Orthodox Church some day. I’m also considering joining one near the college I’ll be attending.

2018-08-16 17:10:46 UTC

The one near me is actually still a mission, liturgy is in a room in the priest's house. Nineteen years and they haven't had the funds to build a church because they've always had a small congregation

2018-08-16 17:18:12 UTC

There's an ortho place up the road from my parish, think it mainly does greek, but there are also some slavonic services.

2018-08-16 17:23:56 UTC

That's interesting. Do you know what jurisdiction it is?

2018-08-16 17:24:47 UTC

The Greek parish nearest me does the singing mixed in Greek and English but the creed, the Our Father, etc, are done in 3-4 different languages

2018-08-16 17:29:30 UTC

@Based Chav It might be carpatho-russian or OCA

2018-08-16 18:10:40 UTC

One of my parishes is Carpatho-ruthenian

2018-08-16 21:58:02 UTC

Kyle you're right retarded ahahahah

2018-08-16 22:30:46 UTC

2018-08-17 08:54:32 UTC
