Lot of people talk a good game, especially in trad circles, but I'm an architect. I can do manual labor, but my academic skills don't mean shit if I can't find someone who can do at least what I can physically
Precisely. That was the problem I had. I was more than willing to use my skills to better the community, I even went and scouted the place out myself, interviewed the locals and gathered intel on the surrounding area. Granted, it was easy being as I’m from the area myself, but my notes were rather in-depth
Where generally were you thinking?
I’ll pm you
Having an autarkic commune would be ideal, but I believe its the fruit of previous labour. There is a group in Australia that acts as a communal fraternal what-have-you and they have ideas about owning businesses to help out downtrodden brothers. But that kind of dosh doesnt come from nowhere, and founding a community isnt the result of sheer collective will
As we talked about in pm, I’ve always felt it was “easier” in a way to talk over a crippled town and bring life back to it. It’s a lot of work, no doubt, but easier to find backers such as investors and politicians. I myself had a lot of support in the town my guys and I used to look at. I had political support all the way up to the state level for funding, and had been tipped off about an investor willing to donate up to $1mil to get the town back on the map.
One issue I think many groups who want to organize have, is finding a way to resonate with the rest of society in a way that won’t get them immediately rejected and put under heavy surveillance.
My problem is that I seem to be the only trad person within 500 miles out here in CA. A guy in /cult/ has a good idea of starting a business of only trad people, but nobody seems to have any overlapping skills, or skills that lend themselves to telecommuting.
Plus most of you are aussie, and I don't want to live in straya.
Btw, have any of you heard of Guild of Gentlemen? (They're on insta) Can't tell if upstart or LARP
Most of us are Aussie? Since when?
yow i have a question? is there like some area i can ask, just because its an interesting one for me
I saw like this facebook explanation of pontius pilate? About since he is roman with the greek-roman pantheon of gods having children? Is that why he believe the Jesus Christ is the son of the hebrew's god or is there no connection at all with the roman pantheon and he saw Christ without his roman culture?
man i feel stupid for asking this. Like we won't know right?
i actually enjoy learning the subtle and backgrounds of the biblical truth. Makes me more interested reading it
I would be strange for me that he would try to shoehorn paganism so hard into Christ
>Be me
>At gig
>Cross paths with short, blonde qt.
>Get chatting. She wants to give me her number.
>Think "Man, I knew had something but I didn't think I was that good."
>"I'm 31"
>Allbecomesclear.jpg
A leftover woman?
Well, I'm ideally looking for a woman whose got a lot of babymaking years left. 30 upwards, there are exponentially more complications.

Side note, what's your guys' take on YWAM?
My cousin is doing like a 6 month total stint, and it sounded good but now that he's slipping me updates I'm not quite sure what to think. Mission work sounds good, but also a lot of not-necessarily-heresy-but-might-be-sketch charismatic shit getting tossed about
